For brands
If you run or represent a brand in this directory — or think you should be in it — here's how to reach me. I read everything myself.
Correct or remove your listing
Every Made-in-USA claim on this site is quoted from a brand's own public labeling, with attribution. If something about your listing is wrong or out of date, or you'd like it taken down, use the take-down and correction form or email me at corrections@americanmadecompany.com. You don't have to explain why to be removed. I respond within 10 business days, and removals are logged plainly on the Removed brands page.
Ask to be listed
If your brand markets its products as made in the United States and isn't here yet, tell me. Send your brand name and website to hello@americanmadecompany.com, or suggest it through the form. I add brands through research and reader submissions, and I publish what a brand publicly states about country of origin — quoted, with a source. Listing requests have no promised timeline; I research each brand before adding it.
Tiers and the recorded date
Every listing carries a tier — today, every brand is Self-attested: the brand's own public claim, quoted with a source. The "Recorded" date is when the claim entered the registry, not a verification. The full methodology, including all three tier definitions and how re-checks work, is on the tiers & methodology page.
What listing costs
Nothing. I don't accept payment for inclusion or for tier placement, and payment can't change where a brand appears or how its profile is written. Whether a brand has an affiliate program has no effect on any of it either — the bright lines spell this out.
How the registry works
This is a neutral, public registry — not a storefront and not a certification. I record what a brand publicly claims and where the claim came from, and I keep a public log of the brands I've removed. Inclusion isn't an endorsement. For the tier system and recorded dates, see tiers & methodology; for the short version, the about page.
Questions
Anything else — how a claim is sourced, how the registry is maintained, or whether your brand is a fit — email hello@americanmadecompany.com. I'm one person, so please give me a few business days.
